Procedure documentationManaging Scheduled Transport Orders

If a transport order has a pick-up time and a target time entered, it is a scheduled transport order.

In the upper left area of the dispatcher work station, the system will display the scheduled transport orders, which have an initial status and which were either manually entered or automatically created when an appointment was scheduled.

Transport orders where the following is true:

  • Transport order is not complete

  • Transport order has date and time entered

  • Transport order has no end status.

  • Transport order has no transporter assigned.

  • Pick-up time (date + time) and target time (date + time) fall within the time interval which results from the pick-up and target time criteria entered on the initial screen.

    Example Example

If you enter Next 20 Minutes as the time on the initial screen, the system will select all transport orders which fall within the time interval 'system time + 20 minutes'. The upper interval limit is therefore system time + 20 minutes.

    End of the example.

    Note Note

Each time the data is refreshed, the system will use the current system time as the starting point for the upper interval limit.

The lower interval limit is always 00:00, so that transport orders, which are not absolutely on schedule, are not lost.

    End of the note.
