Preregistrations View Type
You can set up specific worklists (Views) to provide an overview of the number of patients with clinical orders with preregistered order items or waiting list entries in clinical orders of a certain status, in the Clinical Work Station using the Preregistrations

Goal
System administration wishes to define a view that users can use for making their own selections.
Method
If the user selects the view pushbutton, the system should not immediately display the Preregistrations view, but should first display the selection screen where the care unit staff enters the care unit to which the list of preregistrations or the waiting list should refer.
Prerequisite
When configuring a view, system administration creates a selection variant in which the Man. Entry Sel. indicator is set.
System Behavior
When the user calls the view, the selection screen will first appear. The selection data from the selection variant is displayed by default. The user can change the selection data, for example, select a different treatment OU. After changing the selection criteria you return to the view. The selections you have just made apply. These selections remain active throughout the session (in other words as long as you remain in the transaction). If you switch to a different view in the meantime, the settings remain in force.
Note
Using
(Basic Settings
) you can reset the temporary changes for a view. The next time you start the Clinical Work Station, the default selections made by system administration for the view apply anew.
Customer fields
You can make a selection using the date when the preregistration was created or changed. Additionally, you can limit the selection using customer fields which you have defined.
Note
The system will flag each tab page where you have entered selection criteria using
(-
).
When you create a function variant for a view which is based on the Preregistrations view type, an SAP Patient Management (IS-H) function selection predefined by SAP is available.
These functions include:
Medical Record List
Cancel Order
You can use this function to cancel the entire clinical order.
Case Overview
Create Clinical Order
Display Clinical Order
Change Clinical Order
Customer functions (1 – 5)
Note
Using the Business Add-In (BAdI) ISH_WP_PREREG_VIEW
you can integrate these customer-specific functions. For more information about this, see the Implementation Guide
under .
Change Patient Master Data
Display Risk Factors
Maintain Risk Factors
Find Preregistration
With this function you define in the search dialog whether the system should also take into account canceled and/or completed preregistrations.
Additionally, the clinical system (i.s.h.med) offers the following functions from the Documents and Environment areas:
Document
Create Document
Display Document (Doc.list pat.rel.)
Environment
Export in Local File
Export to MS Excel
Assign Case
Next Day
Outstanding Items for Patient
Patient Appointments
Patient Organizer
Planning Grid
Day-Based Planning

For more information about setting up the clinical work station, see Clinical Work Station: Setup.
A specific field selection is available to you for each view type. Layouts enable you to define your own column sequence and sort order in relation to this field selection.
In the field selection of the Preregistrations view type the following IS-H and i.s.h.med fields are available:
Patient Data
Patient
Sex
Age
Birthdate
Private Patient
Case
Case Type
Admission OU
Visit OU
Preregistration Data
Initiating OU
Initiating Employee/Business Partner
Treatment OU
Treatment Appointment Date
The desired date and time from the appointment template are displayed on a colored background. Actual appointments are not displayed on a colored background. This means that the user can easily recognize whether this is an appointment or an appointment template.
Preregistration Type/Order Type ID
If you select the view using the order type, the system will always display the order type used to select. If several order types satisfy the selection criteria, the system will display one row per order type in the view.
Admission OU
Admission Appointment – Date
Priority
Status
Name of Referring Physician
The case type determines whether the system displays the referring physician or the referral type. For inpatient cases, the system will enter and display the referring physician, for outpatient cases the transferring physician.
