Set Up Team Entry
In service entry or in the surgery planning and surgery documentation areas, many employees can be involved. These employees perform tasks in service performance. The user enters the involved employees in the Enter Team
dialog box or in the service details for the request or clinical order.
There are various procedures to ensure that the user receives a correspondingly restricted selection list of involved employees.
Note
Regardless of the selected procedure, you can also create a task proposal for a service. When the user entered this service, the tasks are preset from the Task Proposal.
You define the organizational units (OUs), positions, employees, tasks, qualifications, and their assignments to each other.

You define OUs, OU involvement, positions, employees, and tasks.

Note
The set up using the OU, OU involvement, and tasks does not represent a great deal of entry effort. Also, it is not necessary to make the qualifications of individual employees visible in the system.
You use the following system parameters to define the settings for team entry:
N1BPSTCT
This parameter controls the display of the employee selection in the team entry function. You define whether the system should display the employees divided by physicians and nursing staff. As standard the system will display physicians and nursing staff separately.
N1MAOE
With this parameter you specify whether, when entering a performing employee in team entry, the system should check this employee against the organizational unit (OU). You define whether the system should display a warning message or an error message, or if no check should be performed.
A Business Add-In (BAdI) is available for the customer-specific restriction of the displayed employee selection in the team entry function.
You can find details in the BAdI documentation in the implementation guide
