In the Occupancy

view types in the Nursing Plan Exists
column the system uses an icon to indicate whether a currently valid nursing plan exists and what status it has. If you click on this column, the system will call different functions depending on the icon:
no icon
There are either no nursing plans or the existing nursing plans have ended. The system calls the Create Nursing Plan function.
Icon with quick info text Nursing Plan Exitsts and Completed
or icon with quick info text Nursing Plan Exists but not yet Completed
The icon Nursing Plan Exists and Completed
indicates that a currently valid nursing plan exists, which is updated for the current time.
The icon Nursing Plan Exists but not yet Completed
indicates that a currently valid nursing plan exists, which has not yet been updated for the current time.
In both cases the system calls the Call Nursing Plan function.
Icon with quick info text NUrsing Plan to Transfer
This icon indicates that a currently valid nursing plan exists which you can transfer. See Transfer Nursing Plan to New Care Unit
Example
The care unit (ward) ZCHISTA2
has created a nursing plan. The patient has been transferred and is currently on care unit (ward) ZCHISTA1
.
In the clinical work station of care unit ZCHISTA1
the system displays the Nursing Plan to Transfer
icon for this patient. The care unit (ward) ZCHISTA1
can then see that there is already a currently valid nursing plan which it can transfer.
You can also call nursing planning via the care unit (ward) work station. The following criteria apply:
for the Create Nursing Plan function: The nursing plan is connected with a task as a Base Item with the initial action "Create“.
for the Call Nursing Plan function: The nursing plan is connected with a task as a documentation object.
You select a patient in a view of the clinical work station and choose Create Nursing Plan to create a new nursing plan for the selected patient and a nursing organizational unit (OU).
If there is either no nursing plan or the existing nursing plans have ended, the system opens the dialog for creating a nursing plan.
Example
If no employee responsible exists, the system opens a selection help. In this you select an employee responsible and then choose
(Transfer
).
In the subsequent processing dialog you enter the data necessary for the nursing plan. See Creating Blocks.
You select a patient in a view of the clinical work station and select Call Nursing Plan
to open the currently valid nursing plan for the selected patient for display or processing. The system will check the following:
If there is not yet a nursing plan, the system calls the Create Nursing Plan function. You can find detailed information in this under Create Nursing Plan.
If there is a currently valid nursing plan, the system opens the dialog for processing a nursing plan.
Note
If the currently valid nursing plan was created by another (old) care unit (ward), following the transfer you, as the new care unit, can decide whether you wish to create a new nursing plan or use the nursing plan of the old care unit. See Transfer Nursing Plan to New Care Unit
Caution
The system locks the nursing plan which it opens. Other users can only open this in display mode.
You select a patient in a view of the clinical work station and choose Nursing Plan Overview
.
The system opens a dialog box which displays all existing nursing plans of the selected patient, which are not canceled. The system sorts in descending order by the creation time of the nursing plan. This means that the system displays the nursing plan which was created last as the first entry.
The following functions are available in this dialog box:
You select a nursing plan and then choose
(Select
).
Note
You can also execute this function by double-clicking on the desired nursing plan. The system opens the selected nursing plan. You can find detailed information of the further procedure under Call Nursing Plan
.
You choose
(Print
) to print the nursing plan overview.
You choose
(Export
) and in the subsequent drop-down menu select the target object to where you wish to export the nursing plan.
Example
If you select “Table Calculation” as the target object, the system exports the nursing plan overview into an Excel sheet.
