This section describes the lanes offered by HR Professional role.

Actions

Displays favorites and recently used actions.

Favorites are sorted by the filter Most Frequently Used.

Displays all the different actions available to a user such as viewing or editing infotypes or processes of employees, positions, or organizational units.

User can add or remove favorites.

User can navigate to the respective actions.

Analytics

Displays favorites and recently used reports.

Favorites are sorted by the filter Most Frequently Used.

Displays all the analytic reports available to a user.

User can add or remove favorites.

User can navigate to the respective reports.

Discussions

Displays most recent active and ongoing discussions between the user and other participants.

Displays all active and ongoing discussions between the user and other participants.

User can reply and comment on an ongoing discussion. You can navigate to the action from which the discussion was initiated. User can perform additional actions on the objects (Organization Units, Employees, and Positions).

The discussions originate from side panel inside the Master Data application and is accessible via the link Discussions on the top right of the page.

Organization

Displays Organizational Units marked as favorites.

User can perform additional actions for the Organization Unit.

User can display the organization chart using Workforce Viewer.

Displays all the organizational units which are marked as favorites by the user. A quick view (which is a subset of the short profile) is available for:

  • Organizational Unit (attributes displayed are OrgUnit (long text of IT1000, OrgUnit ID, managed by, open tasks, and feeds)

  • Employee (attributes displayed depend on the MOLGA settings)

  • Position (attributes displayed are name of the position, position ID, name of the holder(s), assigned job, reports to (name of the Orgunit, 003 relationship), manager (Name of the manager 003->012 relationship incl. logic to determine next level manager if direct manager position is unoccupied), open tasks (number), feed updates (number)

User can remove favorites.

User can perform additional actions for the objects (Organization Unit and Manager).

User can display the organization chart using Workforce Viewer.

Processes

Displays number of processes grouped by process name by following criteria:

  • Advanced filter and search capabilities enable HR professionals to easily find details about open processes and completed processes.

  • Better visibility into processes improves end-user efficiency and service levels.

Search

User can use a central search field with search terms to search for objects.

The expanded Search lane allows you to refine your search.

Tasks By Priority

Overview of the number of tasks grouped according to priority.

Direct access to the Unified Inbox for further processing. The Unified Inbox enables you to view tasks in two differently styled views – List and Stream. Unified Inbox is a work list management tool which combines filtering, sorting, viewing, and searching the list of tasks.

Tasks By Drafts
