This landing page lane displays all actions available in the Personnel & Organization component for HR Professionals.

Actions in this context mean operations that can be executed for Employees, Organizational Units, and Positions with the Personnel & Organization component. For example:

  • Create Position

  • Hire Employee

  • Addresses

Note Note

HR Professionals can start a hiring process only from the Actions lane. You can also start other processes, for which a start object already exists in the system, from the Search Lane, Organization Lane, Processes Lane, or Discussions Lane.

Integration

When you select an action in the Actions lane, you first have to select the object with which you want to perform the action in the Master Data Application Personnel & Organization (Web Dynpro application HRPAO_PAOM_MASTERDATA).

Features

The Actions lane displays all actions that are available for the user.

  • User can add or remove favorites.

  • Recently used actions are displayed in the lane.

  • The expanded Actions lane displays all of the different actions available to a user, such as viewing or editing infotypes, processes of employees, organizational units, or positions.
