Definition

The sequence key identifier to use

Description and Use

This system parameter gives the possibility to specify the sequence key identifier to use. When this parameter is set, the file sequencing is enabled, which implies that:

The system identifier is set at the beginning of the file name
The sequence number, which is a 6-digit number between '000000' and '999999', is set at the end of the file name

Note

This sequence number is computed by the bulkWriter according to the current value of the related sequence (whose identifier corresponds to the specified value) recorded in the "FILE_SEQUENCES" table of the Core database

Note

This parameter is only relevant if:

The ITEM_FILE_SEQUENCE_ENABLED parameter is set to "true"
The corresponding XXX_FILE_VERSION parameter is set to "2"

The possible default values are not available in this documentation. Get the information from the templates of configuration files of the SAP CC system. You can use the export command of the Setup Tool user interface to view the current settings.

An immediate change is not possible. For a deferred and permanent change, use the set command of the Admin+ user interface to change the parameter value for a specific type of instance in the SAP CC Core Server system. A restart is needed for permanent changes.

You can use a default value to reset the runtime value or the restart value (persistent) in the Admin+ user interface.

Note

A default value is part of the factory settings of the SAP CC Core Server systems. It differs from the original value set during the installation or after the Customizing activities.

In Admin+, you can reset a parameter value to this default value, but it is not recommended:

This value may differ from the original value set during the installation of your SAP CC system.
Note that it may also differ from the value defined by the implementation project team and set during the Implementation Phase of the integration project.
