Definition
Description and Use
This system parameter specifies if the logging destination fileset #1 is enabled (true) or disabled (false) as destination for log messages ( factory settings ) and/or trace messages.
This file destination can be used to record entries from different events: Business processing logs, system processing logs, and traces. You can add this fileset #1 to the following destination settings:
- Destination for business processing logs: LS_APP_DESTINATION
- Destination for system processing logs: LS_SYS_DESTINATION
- Destination for traces: LS_TRC_DESTINATION
You can set up the file output format , the file path, name, and extension , the maximum file size before rotation , and the number of files available for the rotations .
Caution
If no value is set for this parameter, the value of the "ld.file1.enabled" system property located in
the startup configuration file (jstart.config) of the instance is used instead.
If this system property is not set, the "true" value is used instead.
