Definition

The enablement or disablement of the internal scheduler responsible for purging expired allowances in provider contracts

Description and Use

This system parameter enables (or disables) an internal scheduler function that is responsible for regularly and automatically purging some expired allowances from the back-end database system (Core Database). In customer master data, the SAP CC system removes the allowances that have exceeded a given retention period (and are thus expired).

When set to true, an Allowance Purge scheduler function is available in the active updater instance of the SAP CC system. This internal scheduler function wakes up periodically according to the value of the ALLOWANCES_PURGE_SCHEDULER_RECURRENCE parameter.

Note A default value is part of the factory settings of the SAP CC Core Server systems. It differs from the original value set during the installation or after the Customizing activities. In Admin+, you can reset a parameter value to this default value, but it is not recommended: This value may differ from the original value set during the installation of your SAP CC system. Note that it may also differ from the value defined by the implementation project team and set during the Implementation Phase of the integration project. Verify the values in your running SAP CC systems before to use the reset command.
