Parameter: EXPIRATION_ALERT_SCHEDULER_ENABLED
Definition
Description
This system parameter enables or disables the automated triggering of the expiration alert mechanism.
If set to true, a scheduler periodically checks if accounts recently expired and sends alert notifications accordingly. This scheduler wakes up periodically according to the value of the EXPIRATION_ALERT_SCHEDULER_RECURRENCE parameter.
Note
Even if the scheduler is enabled, an alert notification is immediately sent when an account expires during the charging of a service usage, a recurring fee, or a one-shot event or during a refill.
