IBM DB2 Tablespaces
The BART Database of SAP Convergent Charging includes the following database tablespaces. They are defined to optimize the storage of data in the database system (IBM DB2).
The database always includes tablespaces dedicated to the data and relating tablespaces that include the database indexes.
A-Z Index
To optimize the data storage, the database administrator (dba) creates and maintains the following tablespaces in the database:

| BART_DATA | This tablespace is used to store the tables containing BART data other than CDRs |
| BART_INDX | This tablespace contains the indexes used for BART data other than CDRs |
| CDR_DATA | This tablespace contains the tables used to store data related to the CDRs of BART |
| CDR_INDX | This tablespace contains the indexes used for data related to the CDRs of BART |
