A mapping table class is an assembly of characteristics that define a group of mapping tables or subscriber mapping tables with the same structure. This master data is part of the pricing catalog owned by a service provider.

Important Note

Versioning: This version is a new version of this data type.

As of SAP CC 2020 FPS 1, a mapping table class can handle up to 40 input and 30 output columns instead of 4 and 15 in the previous version (version 0).

Consider the previous versions of this data type when it is already implemented in your SAP system landscape:

A mapping table class is defined by:

An identifier, which is unique in SAP CC
An owner, which is the name of the related pricing catalog
A text description, which contains a human readable definition of the implemented charging logic
Additional information, which enables to store information used by an external system but not by SAP CC internal processes
A set of input columns, which contains at least one column and 40 columns at most. Each column is defined by:
- A name, which is unique in the mapping table class and identifies each column
- A description, which contains a human readable definition of each row data.
- A type, which can be:
  - A string
  - An SAP currency
A set of output columns, which contains at least one column and 30 columns at most. Each column is defined by:
- A name, which is unique in the mapping table class and identifies each column
- A description, which contains a human readable definition of each row data.
- A type, which can be:
  - A string
  - A number
