Definition

The site map is a representation of the physical layout of the warehouse using 3-D coordinates.

Use

The site map fulfills the following roles:

  • Assists with routing and the prioritization of tasks

  • Enables TRM to track activities in the warehouse and provide location-related information, such as the current location of a resource
