Subscriber Tasks

Use

The content distribution process requires different tasks to be performed by the syndicator and the subscriber.

The following are essential tasks of the subscriber:

1. In the subscriber properties, enter the data required to identify the sender and receiver.

   For more information, see Editing Subscriber Properties .

2. Optional: Create a user that the syndicator can use to authenticate itself in your system.

   This step is necessary only if you want to use the Push delivery method.

3. Register with one or more syndicators.

   For more information, see Registering a Syndicator with the Subscriber .

4. To receive the content specified in an offer, create a subscription.

   For more information, see Creating and Managing Subscriptions .
