Syndicator Tasks

Use

The content distribution process requires different tasks to be performed by the syndicator and the subscriber.

The following are essential tasks of the syndicator:

1. In the syndicator properties, enter the data required to identify the sender and receiver.

2. Create a user that the subscriber can use to authenticate himself or herself in your system.

   For more information, see Creating a User for Fetching the Catalog and Pull Actions .

3. Create offers. This comprises the following steps:

   • Specifying offer components

   • Defining delivery rules

   • Changing or deleting components or complete offers

4. Manage subscribers and subscriptions. This comprises the following tasks:

   • Editing subscriptions (defining content package size, and so on)

   • Configuring subscriber contact data for push subscriptions
