Managing Subscribers and Their Subscriptions

Use

As a syndicator, you can view all subscribers and their subscriptions, and you can perform various actions on the pertinent data.

When a subscriber creates a pull or push subscription to one of your offers, the subscription is automatically registered on your syndicator system.

Features

For any subscriber registered on your system, you can:

  • Configure the URL and logon data required to send content in push mode

  • Edit Subscriptions

You can also delete complete subscriptions and subscribers.

Activities

To access the functions for managing subscriptions choose Subscribers in the Syndicator Administration iView.

Configure Push

To configure the logon data for pushing content to a subscriber, you select the subscriber and then enter the required data on the Configure Push tab page.

The URL is already entered, since it was transmitted when the subscriber created the subscription.

You have to enter the username and password that the subscriber communicated to you.

Edit Subscriptions

To edit subscriptions that are registered on your system, you select the subscriber and then select the Subscriptions tab page.

You can specify a maximum size (in KB) for ICE packages to be transferred. Packages that would exceed this size will be decomposed and sent in multiple packages of a smaller size.

You can reset the status of a subscription to ICE-INITIAL, and thus cause a full update to be sent with the next update.
