Offline Capability

The Self Scanning Client is fully offline compatible (except for the display of item images; these are not available offline). If the network connection fails during the shopping trip in the store, the Self Scanning Client falls back on the internal offline database. The internal offline database gets downloaded and updated each time that the customer connects the Self Scanning Client to the store network to make sure that the internal offline database is always as up-to-date as technically possible. Images/pictures of the items are not available offline.
