Validate Checkout Code

Once the shopping trip is successfully completed, the consumer moves to the check-out area where the gates are located.

If no intervention is necessary: the Self-Scanning Service generates a check-out code that is shared with the SSC application. This code is scanned by the scanner at the gate and passed to the Gate Service, which checks it against the code generated by the Self-Scanning Service.

If no error occurs, scanning the QR code opens the gates and the customer can leave the store. If an error does occur, employee intervention is required.
