Scanning Items without a Barcode

Item buttons are used to enter items that cannot be scanned (e.g. fruits or bakery items):

• First, the customer selects the merchandise category of the item (e.g. Bakery).
• A menu is displayed with the corresponding item buttons:

• The customer presses the button that corresponds to the item to be entered.
• The entered item is listed in the receipt preview on the left.
