Reinstallation

To reinstall a One X Client, please follow the steps below.

  1. Shut down the POS application.
  2. Shut down the updater application.

    You can use the prepared scripts stop-updater.bat for Windows or stop-updater.sh for Linux. The shutdown scripts can be found in the updater folder inside your POS system.

    For example: d:\gkretail\pos-full\updater\stop-updater.bat

  3. Open the station.properties (d:\gkretail\pos-full\station.properties) and note the following properties:
    • station.tenantId
    • station.storeId
    • station.workstationId
  4. You can now delete your POS folder
  5. Open your web browser and go to Employee Hub
  6. Log in as your given user and choose the same tenant ID you noted in Step 3
  7. Go to the tab Installation & Update
  8. In the section Installation, click on the tile One X Client
  9. Enter the store ID and workstation ID you noted in Step 3 and press the button Create
  10. Confirm the pop-up window with OK Confirmation
  11. Copy your installation key to the clipboard and press the Download button to download the installation launcher
  12. You can now proceed as described above in the standard installation and run the installation launcher
