You can use the HR: Challenge archiving object (HRPA_CHLLN) to destroy data about challenges once a specified retention period has expired. The archiving object destroys data from the Challenge infotype (0004).

If, for example, a legal case about the recognition of the degree of challenge is not yet closed, you can block the relevant data records from being destroyed. To do so, in the Legal Hold infotype (3246), put a legal hold on the employee's data (infotype 0004). For more information, see Legal Hold.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of data destruction, as well as the functions for ILM policies and rules, and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.
