Worklist in Price Planning Workbench

Use

In the worklist, the system displays objects selected to be edited (price plans, markdown proposals, articles and permanent organization sets) hierarchically in a selection tree. When you process existing price plans, you select the price plan to be processed from the selection tree. When you create or enrich price plans, you transfer the required markdown proposals, articles, or permanent organization sets from the worklist to the price plan.

Prerequisites

  • You have specified whether you want to base the structure of the budget definition on the article hierarchy or the merchandise category. This setting determines the basic structure of the selection tree hierarchy.

  • You have defined the hierarchical structure of selection trees for price plans, articles and organization sets. You have also defined appropriate node information for the hierarchy levels of the selection tree.

Features

  • You can delete items from the selection tree.

    Deleting markdown proposals from the worklist is the same as rejecting them.

  • You can set a filter to display a partial quantity in the selection tree.

  • To change the status of price plans you can update the tree structure display while you process price plans.

  • You can transfer items from the selection tree to the work area.

    Note Note

    When you transfer markdown proposals and articles, the system hides these in the worklist. If you delete markdown proposals or articles in the work area, the system displays these again in the tree structure in the worklist.

  • You can copy permanent organization sets from the selection tree to a manually created price plan or promotion price plan.

Activities

Selecting markdown proposals and articles for the worklist

  1. To select markown proposals for the rule-based markdown control process, choose Markdowns in the list field of the worklist, and then with the quick info text Select Markdowns .

    Note Note

    If you want to transfer all the markdown proposals that you are allowed to process to the worklist, choose with the quick info text All Open Markdowns .

    To select articles for the manual price change process, choose Manual Price Changes in the list field and then with the quick info text Select Articles .

    To select articles for the promotion process, choose Promotions in the list field and then with the quick info text Select Articles .

  2. To restrict your selection, enter the distribution chain you require and any additional selection criteria on the selection screen.

  3. In the Data Transfer Target group box, you can specify that the system displays the selection results in the worklist or transfers them straight to the work area of the price plan.

    Note Note

    If you want to transfer the results to a price plan but you have not opened a price plan in the work area, the system automatically creates a new price plan.

  4. Make your selection.

Selecting price plans for the worklist

  1. Choose Price Plans in the list field of the worklist and then with the quick info text Select Price Plans .

  2. To restrict your selection, enter the required distribution chain and additional selection criteria for the price plans on the selection screen.

  3. Make your selection.

    The system displays the price plans in the worklist.

Selecting organization sets for the price plan

  1. Choose Organization Sets in the dropdown box for the worklist.

  2. Select the required organization sets for your price plan.

  3. Copy the organization set to your price plan.

  4. You have the option to delete the organization sets in the tree.
