Creating a Markdown Price Plan In slow seller management, you make settings in SAP BI for rule-based markdown controlling. If articles do not meet the target sales ratios in a defined time period, SAP BI generates markdown proposals for the selected analysis level based on the markdown profiles assigned. You transfer the markdown proposals with the chosen price activation levels to a worklist in SAP ECC and fill them with data that is relevant for price planning. In the
Price Planning Workbench
(PPW), you create a markdown price plan for the markdown proposals. In price planning you can accept, change, or reject markdown proposals.
Based on the settings for rule-based markdown controlling, SAP BI has generated markdown proposals that you have transferred to SAP ECC for processing in the worklist.
For more information, see the
SAP Netweaver
documentation, under
.
You have enhanced the markdown proposals with price-planning-relevant data.
For more information, see Enrichment of Markdown Proposals .
In the list field in the worklist in the PPW, you enter
Markdowns
as the price planning category.
You select the markdown proposals you want and transfer them to the worklist.

You create a new price plan.
In the header data, the system automatically sets the latest possible date as the validity end date of the price plan.
You transfer the markdown proposals you require to the price plan.
The system transfers the setting for the validity start that you defined in the report for enriching markdown proposals to the header data of the price plan. You can change this validity start date. If you transfer more markdown proposals to the price plan, the system adjusts their validity start date to the one in the header data.
The system generates appropriate organization sets from the organizational levels of the markdown proposals.
You process the markdown items in the work area.
For more information, see Markdown Price Plan Processing .
You save the price plan.
You have created a markdown price plan. The price plan has the status
In Process
.
You can continue to process the markdown price plan.
For more information, see Subsequent Processing of Price Plans .
