Creating a Manual Price Plan

Purpose

In this process you create a manual price plan in the Price Planning Workbench (PPW) that you use to make price changes for articles and organizational levels. For price planning in the PPW, other functions, such as the budget monitor and stock determination are available.

Process Flow

  1. In the list field in the worklist in the PPW, you enter Manual Price Changes as the price planning category.

  2. You select the articles you want and transfer them to the worklist.

For more information, see Worklist under “Selecting Markdown Proposals and Articles for the Worklist”.

  3. You create a new price plan.

  4. In the header data for the price plan you enter a description, the price planning type, and the validity start date of the price plan on the General Header Data tab page.

In the header data, the system automatically sets the validity end date of the price plan to the latest possible date.

  5. You transfer the articles that you want from the worklist to the price plan.

  6. On the Organization Sets tab page, you define the organization sets for the relevant organizational levels and assign these to the article items.

If you have flagged an organization set as a default setting, the system assigns this to the articles during the transfer.

For more information, see Organization Set .

  7. Based on your settings in the PPW, the system performs price planning in which it calculates, most importantly, a default value for the sales price.

  8. You process the article items in the work area.

For more information, see Processing a Manual Price Plan .

  9. You save the price plan.

Result

You have created a manual price plan. The price plan has the status In Process .

You can perform subsequent processing for the price plan.
