Performing Audits

You, as an auditor, use an audit structure to audit an SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) ABAP system.

Prerequisites

You have logged on with a user, which has been assigned a role with the authorizations required for the audit menu including the check number.

Procedure

  1. Start Audit Information System (transaction SAIS).
  2. Enter a structure.
  3. Enter a check number.

    If the check number does not exist in the system when you execute the transaction, the application prompts you to confirm the creation of a new audit for this structure.

  4. Choose Execute Object (Execute).

    The audit cockpit for your audit structure opens.

  5. Perform the audit steps as outlined in the audit structure.

    The documents in the audit structure explain any background you need to perform your checks. The transactions in the structure give you access to the applications you need to perform your checks.

  6. Enter and save your protocol entries.
