Recording the Results

The results of the audit steps of an audit determine what actions should be triggered as the result of an audit.

Prerequisites

You have logged on with a user, which has been assigned a role with the authorizations required for the audit menu including the check number.

Procedure

  1. Start a transaction within an audit structure and carry out the required audit step.
  2. In the Check Status field, select the result of the audit step.

    In the field for notes, record any additional information clarifying the reasons or circumstances surrounding your choice.

  3. Save your entries

    The system records your result including your user ID and a timestamp in the result log for the audit. To ensure the integrity of the audit data, once you save an entry, you cannot change it. You can delete old logs.

Next Steps

When you display audit results you can opt to display only the latest results for each audit step or all results.
