Starting Transactions

Transactions in audit structures enable you to carry out steps in an audit.

Prerequisites

You have logged on with a user, which has been assigned a role with the authorizations required for the audit menu including the check number.

Procedure

  1. Start Audit Information System (transaction SAIS).
  2. Enter a structure.
  3. Enter a check number.

    If the check number does not exist in the system when you execute the transaction, the application prompts you to confirm the creation of a new audit for this structure.

  4. Choose Execute Object (Execute).

    The audit cockpit for your audit structure opens.

  5. Navigate the audit structure to a transaction.

    Transactions use the Display text icon.

  6. Double-click the menu entry for the transaction.

    The audit cockpit opens the transaction in a new window and displays the step results in the display panel of the screen.
