Rating After Check - SAP Documentation

Definition

A final appraisal of the risk potential of an agent in a work area after the results of the risk assessment have been checked.

Use

When you assign a rating after a check, you formally close a risk assessment. Using the rating, you can document how the risk or hazard is to be assessed following a check of the data and an effectiveness check of the safety measures . You can also specify who is responsible for the check and when the check was made. If the check provides a negative result, you can create a follow-on assessment or specify the date of the next risk assessment.

Structure

You set the value assignment after check in the Val. ass. chckd field on the Edit Risk Assessment: Assessment screen. The field is only ready for input if there are no more open safety measures or no safety measures were entered. No open safety measures means that all safety measures have the status Task completed or Deleted by PM .

You set the possible ratings in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Specify Exposure Ratings .

The system assigns a traffic light icon to each Value Rating Check to make it clearer. This icon can have the following color settings:

You also set which traffic light icons correspond to the different Rating After Check in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety under Specify Exposure Ratings.

When you search for a risk assessment, you can use the traffic light icon as a search criterion. During the search, both the rating after check and the main rating are taken into account.

Integration

After rating, all risk assessment data relevant for the check result is locked for changes. You can still edit any fields that have no influence on the rating. For example, you can add a text note or add the date of the next risk assessment. You can also edit the status. If you do not want to permit any more changes you must set the status to Historical . If you run a matchup with the exposure profile after assigning the rating, the rating of the corresponding exposure profile entry is overwritten by theRating After Check . If you have not filled out the Rating After Check , the Main Rating is used for the matchup.
