Status Editing for Risk Assessment This process provides a release process for risk assessments. You can use the status to specify and track which stage of processing a data record has reached.
Assigning the initial status
The initial status specifies the starting point in the release process. You assign it when you create a risk assessment.
Requesting release
For risk assessments with the status
Created
you first have to request release. To do this, choose
Risk Assessment
→
Status Switch
→
Request Release
in the
hit list
or in
risk assessment
. This sets the status to
Verification Environment
Changing the status
You can change the status in the
hit list
or in
risk assessment
. To make the change, use either
Accept
(
) or
Reject
(
). This changes the status according to the
status network
set in Customizing. The status
Historical
is the end point of status processing. You set this status by choosing
Risk Assessment
→
Status Switch
→
Set to Historical
for a data record with the status
Released
or
Locked

Each status switch is documented in the
status log
. You can view the log by choosing
in
risk assessment
(that is in the
Edit Risk Assessment
:
Assessment
or
Display Risk Assessment: Assessment
screen) for a selected data record.

When you assign the status
Historical
, the data record can only be displayed and no longer edited. You can still delete the data record, though.
Restarting the release process
Using the
Reset to Initial Status
function you can reset the status to
Created
. This allows you to start the release process from the beginning again. This is necessary, for example, if the data in a released risk assessment changes.
The function is available
only for data records with the status
Locked
and
Released
. You access the function by choosing
Risk Assessment
→
Status Switch
→
Reset to Initial Status
in the
hit list
or in
risk assessment

Use the
status log
to get an overview of all release actions you execute.
The following table shows the sequence of statuses according to the status network included with the standard system.
