Hit Lists

Use

The hit list is used to display the results of search queries and represents the central entry point for calling functions in Industrial Hygiene and Safety .

Prerequisites

You call the respective component, for example, work area management or risk assessment , from the Industrial Hygiene and Safety menu and specify a search query . The results of the search are displayed in list form known as the hit list.

In the hit list you choose one or more hits and then choose the required function, for example, in work area management the Exposure Profile .

In the chosen function you can navigate between the various data records using the and pushbuttons.

Display search criteria

Indication of hits for which an activity could not be executed

Hits for which a requested activity could not be performed are marked in the hit list using red traffic light icons. If you click one of the icons, the individual problem description will appear for the respective hit.

If you configure the hit list display, make sure that the symbols still appear in the list.

Display configuration

You can customize the hit list display, for example, by hiding or displaying columns. You can save the configured list as a user-specific or standard layout. You can also specify a layout as the default.

To configure the hit list and save it as a layout, choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Layout Next navigation step Edit. End of the navigation path

To define a default layout, use the layout management function, which can be accessed by choosing Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Layout Next navigation step Management End of the navigation path .

Manual reduction of hits

If the system has given you a large number of hits, you can subsequently reduce the number of hits by hand without having to run a new search query.

Select the hits you do not require in the list and then choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Choose Next navigation step Manual Reduction. The selected hits are removed from the hit list. End of the navigation path

View change

In the risk assessment hit list you can toggle the list sorting between the agent view and the work area view.
