Response Management

Use

This function is used to manage responses.

Integration

It is found under Order and is available to you as follows:

Prerequisite	Menu path
Access response management from order entry and display all responses that have been sent or collected for the box number ad selected.	Choose the button with the Response management quick info on the Details tab page.
Access response management directly and enter or display responses that have been sent or collected for a box number ad.	Sales Order Environment Responses

The Determine responses function is used to identify box number ads with a resubmission date.

Prerequisites

You have created a box number ad.

The system creates a data record to manage responses when you create a box number ad.

Features

Response management has a selection and display screen.

Selection

Enter the box number for which you want to enter or display responses received on the selection screen.

Display

The system displays the following information for the box number specified on the display screen:

General data (order number, item number box number and the Collect or Send note that has been defined from the box number indicator in the order).

Name and address of the box number recipient

If you have specified that responses should be sent in the order (box number indicator), the system displays the address of the box number recipient. If you have specified that responses should be collected in the order (box number indicator), the system does not display the address of the box number recipient.

Number of responses sent or collected including date and address label.

Total number of responses sent or collected.

Resubmission date and comment.

Edit responses

The following functions for entering and modifying responses are available to you on the display screen:

Function	Use
Change box number addresses	Select an address for the box number recipient role from the sold-to party master data. Enter an order-specific address for a box number recipient. This address is not updated in the business partner master data. Format the address for a box number recipient for label or form printing differently from that standard proposed in Customizing. Enter responses and print address labels	Enter the number of responses sent or collected. Enter dates on which responses were sent or collected. Enter and print address labels required. If you have specified that responses should be sent in the order (box number indicator), the Address labels field is ready for input. The system defines the number of address labels as 1. Enter the number of labels required and press Print label . If you have specified that responses should be collected in the order (box number indicator), the Address labels field is not ready for input and you cannot print any labels. Use output control to print a box number security slip for the advertiser. Instruct the system to calculate the total number of responses collected and sent. Enter a processing comment that indicates that a response is only to be transferred in particular circumstances.
Calculate resubmission date	Instruct the system to calculate the resubmission date for box number ads. The resubmission date is used to determine box number ads with responses that are to be sent or collected on a particular date. See also: Determination of Responses
Display ad items	Access order and display the box numbers associated with an ad item to obtain the information required to respond to queries concerning the processing status of responses.
