 Defining Maintenance Profiles

Use

The system uses a maintenance profile to retrieve planning parameters, such as planning horizon or planning priority.

Prerequisites

You have created tolerance profiles .

You have created maintenance task lists .

You have created planning versions .

You have created characteristics and counter types in SAP SCM that match the characteristics and counters in SAP R/3.

Procedure

Maintenance profiles contain planning-version-dependent and independent data. Any changes to that data may affect other planning versions.

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Master Data for Maintenance and Service Planning Next navigation step Maintenance Profile End of the navigation path .

    Note Note

    You can create, change, and delete maintenance profiles in this transaction. This procedure describes how to create maintenance profiles.

  2. Enter data as required and choose Create Maintenance Profile .

  3. On the Profile Details screen, enter data as required.

  4. Save your entries.
