Tolerance Profiles

A tolerance profile determines the planning flexibility of a maintenance item. You can specify dates for the earliest start, preferred start, and latest start of a maintenance task. All dates are specified as percentages of the time interval starting at the end of the previous item in the maintenance plan and ending at the compliance date of the item. You can maintain the tolerance profile as time-dependent.

You maintain tolerance profiles in the mySAP SCM - Implementation Guide under  Advanced Planning and Optimization Maintenance and Service Planning Define Tolerance Profile .

You select the tolerance profile to be used in a maintenance profile , which you use for a specific planning version.
