Defining Server SettingsLocate this document in the navigation structure

In this step, you customize the server settings for SAP Jam.

Prerequisites

For the direct connection to SAP Jam in a system used as an ABAP SMI hub or in any back-end system not using the ABAP SMI hub option, you have completed the steps described in Basic Back-End Configuration.

Context

You have to perform this step for each server to which you want to connect.

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for SAP NetWeaver, choose Start of the navigation path UI Technologies Next navigation step SAP Jam Integration Next navigation step Define Server Settings End of the navigation path (or run transaction CLB2_PLATF).
    The Change View "Server Communication": Overview screen appears.
  2. For each system and client, enter the relevant target servers.
  3. Under Server Communication, select the line with the following values:
    Field Value
    Service Provider Type Jam
    Server Jam productive
    Name of Local Service Provider cubetree.com
  4. Choose Details (Ctrl+Shift+F2).
    The Change View "Server Communication": Details screen appears.
  5. To receive a valid instance, complete the following fields:
    Field Value
    Service Provider Enter cubetree.com.
    Server URL Enter <your server URL>.

    Proxy Host

    Proxy Port

    This is the proxy information you entered in HTTP Proxy. The values for the Proxy Host and Proxy Port fields should be determined by ICF, so the integration scenario might work without entering values. However, in some cases (for example, older releases) you may need to enter the host and port manually.

    Note Not required for the indirect connection.
    SSL Application ID

    ANONYM.

    The SSL channel has already been set up in Service Provider Certificate.
    Note

    Ignore the fields related to Send Notifications on the screen. They are not relevant for setting up the connection to SAP Jam.

  6. Under the Authentication Method sub-node, specify the authentication methods used on this server.

    The default assignment for the productive SAP Jam server should look as follows:

    • For direct connection:

    • For indirect connection:

      SAP_LOGON_TICKET
    APPUSR Application context with user authentication

    • For direct connection:

      OAUTH_10_SHA1_3

    • For indirect connection:

      SAP_LOGON_TICKET
    NONE No authentication For direct and indirect connection: NONE
    USER User context

    • For direct connection:

      SAML_20

    • For indirect connection:

      SAP_LOGON_TICKET
  7. Save your entries.
