By default perspectives are displayed in alphabetical order in the application, and the objectives are displayed in alphabetical order within their respective perspectives. You can change the order that perspectives and objectives appear in the Scorecard component of the application. You may want to rearrange them by order of importance, or by order of time-sensitivity.

Prerequisites

Someone with Create/Edit Objectives permissions has created perspectives and objectives.

You are an administrator or a user assigned to an application group with Create/Edit Contexts permissions. If Contexts is unavailable to you, it means you do not have the correct permissions.

You have created a context. For more information, see Context Development.

You have picked the objectives for the context. For more information, see Objective Selection.

Features

You can do the following to set the display order of perspectives and objectives:

  • (Required) Select a context from the Context drop-down list to specify the layout of its perspectives and objectives.

  • Review the current order of perspectives and objectives assigned to the selected context in the Select Perspectives and Objectives list.

  • Arrange the order that perspectives appear in the application using Order Perspectives.

  • Arrange the order that objectives appear under their perspectives in the application using Order Objectives.

Activities

To select objectives for a context, choose Set Display Order from the Contexts section.
