You are defined as a coordinator for all languages **** in transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER).
If you want to create or change translator teams, your translator profile must include the authorization object USTE with value 01.
If you want to create or change translator groups, your translator profile must include the authorization object USTG with value 01.
You can use translator teams to organize translators who work together at the same external translation agency. By using teams, you can create translation coordinators who are also assigned to teams and have the authorization for administrative tasks related to translators in their own team only. For example, a coordinator assigned to team SL can assign collections to translators in team SL, but not to translators in team RH. Using translator teams ensures that collection assignment details, for example, remain private to each specific translator team.
You can use translator groups to determine who can access performance monitoring data in transaction TPMO. For example, if you work with external translation agencies and calculate your line-based billing data using the performance monitor, you would create a translator group and assign the coordinator and all translators belonging to the same agency to that group. A coordinator assigned to group SL can then display billing data for translators in group SL, but not for translators in group RH. This ensures that sensitive billing information remains private to that agency.
Using translator teams and translator groups is entirely optional. We only recommend that you use translator teams and translator groups if you are using external agencies for your translation work.
You have created a translator team and/or translator group which you can now assign to a translator.
