If distribution has been activated for a language and object type, it can take place each time an evaluation is performed. The distribution parameters defined in transaction Translation Environment (LXE_MASTER) for each object type and language apply. LXE_MASTER also enables you to determine whether distribution takes place in new and/or modified lines.
Your translator profile includes the authorization object LAOB with the value 01 or 02.
The object types that need translating into a specific target language have been defined.
Automatic distribution cannot take place in an object until its collection has been assigned to a graph for which automatic distribution has been activated for the target language.
Call transaction LXE_MASTER.
On the
Languages tab page, choose
Object Types.
The Choose Target Language dialog box appears.
Select the target language for which you want to define distribution parameters.
The Object Types dialog box appears.
You can only maintain distribution parameters for short text object types that are translated with the aid of the proposal pool.
Select the object types for which you want to maintain distribution parameters, and choose Distribution Parameters.
The Assign Distribution Parameters dialog box appears.
If you want to select several object types at the same time, choose Select Object Types.
If you want to maintain the distribution parameters for new short text lines, select the Distribute as of Quality Status radio button in the New Lines group box.
Select the minimum quality status that a best proposal must have before it can be distributed in new lines.
If you want to maintain the distribution parameters for modified short text lines, select the Distribute as of Quality Status radio button in the Modified Lines group box.
By distributing in modified lines, best proposals with a suitably high quality status overwrite existing translations.
Select the minimum quality status that a best proposal must have before it can be distributed in modified lines.
Choose Assign.
Choose Save.
If you want to deactivate distribution for a selection of object types, perform steps 1 to 4 (above) and select the No Distribution radio buttons in the Assign Distribution Parameters dialog box.
You have defined distribution parameters. When evaluations run, proposals are distributed in accordance with these parameters in objects belonging to collections that are assigned to graphs for which automatic distribution has been activated for the target language.
