Changing the Quality Status of ProposalsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You can change the quality status of domain standards, system standards, and abbreviations. Exceptions do not have a quality status.

You may need to change the quality status of a proposal in the following situations:

  • You have checked proposals with a low quality status, and want to increase the quality status so that they can be automatically distributed.

    Example

You decide that the system standard Save for the source text Sichern should be distributed in future. At this time, distribution is only active for proposals with quality status A. Save has quality status S. Change the quality status of Save from S to A.

  • You want to assign a lower quality status to a proposal to ensure that it is not automatically distributed.

For more information on quality statuses and the automatic distribution of proposals, see Quality Status and Automatic Distribution.

Procedure

  1. Access the proposal pool from the short text editor, or by using transaction SLPP. For more information on how to access the proposal pool, see Accessing the Proposal Pool.

  2. Select the proposal whose quality status needs to be changed.

  3. Choose the Change Quality Status icon. The Select Status dialog box appears.

  4. Double-click the required quality status.

Results

The system assigns the required quality status to the proposal. In the attributes for the proposal, the system displays your user as the person who last changed it. For more information on how to display attributes for a proposal, see Displaying Attributes for a Proposal.
