Deleting SnapshotsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You can delete the snapshots created in an SAP system.

Procedure

  1. Select one of the following tools:
    • In SAP system (SAP GUI): Open transaction SNAPSHOTS.
    • Open SAP MMC.
  2. Select one or more snapshots that you want to delete.
    • SAP system (SAP GUI): Select one or more lines. Follow menu path: Start of the navigation path Snapshot Next navigation step Delete End of the navigation path.
    • SAP MMC: From the context menu of the SAP system or instance, choose: Start of the navigation path All Tasks Next navigation step Open Snapshot End of the navigation path. Select one or more snapshots from which you want to download,‎ and choose Delete.

Results

The selected snapshots will be deleted from directory <DIR_GLOBAL>/sapcontrol/snapshots.
