Viewing and Evaluating Snapshots of an Instance

When an AS-ABAP instance creates a snapshot automatically in error situtations, the snapshot is written to the developer trace (dev_disp) and to the work process trace. This additional information is used by support for closer analysis of the error.

If you create a server-side snapshot manually with SAP MMC instead, no additional information is written to the traces.
