Data Area 

In the Memory Areas user menu, you can find, among other things, a display of the usage of the data area since the last start of the liveCache Monitoring.

If you want to extend the data area, follow the procedure described in Configuring the Data Area.

Prerequisite

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

The liveCache database instance is in the ONLINE operational state.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant(transaction LC10).

       2.      Enter the name of the database connection.
You can select the name from the list of existing names. You can restrict the search for the required name.

       3.      Choose liveCache → Monitoring.

       4.      Choose Current Status →Memory Areas →Data Area.

Result

The system displays information about the memory usage of the data area.

Total Size	Size of the data area
Used Area	Memory actually used in the data area
Permanently Used Area	Memory used by permanent data ( OMS data, SQL data, links to undo log entries).
Temporarily Used Area	Memory used by temporary data in the data area (data that belongs to consistent views and was displaced from the OMS heap)
Free Area	Available memory in the data area
