This function manages business functions and business function sets for your managed systems, centrally.

You activate business functions in the Switch Framework cockpit, for example, to implement new functions in an implementation project, or to install an upgrade.

Integration

You use the Switch Framework cockpit in Project Administration or System Landscape Management.

Prerequisites

  • The managed systems in which you want to activate business functions, have at least SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

  • The managed systems have a TRUSTED RFC connection to the Solution Manager system

    With a READ RFC connection, you can display, but not change, the Switch Framework data.

  • Your user is authorized to activate business functions and business function sets.
