The Changes
area contains information about all of the software changes to be made as part of a QGM scenario.
Note
You can show or hide the columns by choosing Open Settings Dialog
. You can also filter the data in any given column by selecting the column and choosing User-Defined Filter
.
The Changes
area contains the following columns by default:

| The number of the change |
| The description of the change |
| One of the following statuses is displayed for each change:
For urgent changes, the statuses |
| The type of change involved (for example, a change or urgent change) |
| The owner of the change |
| The number of transport requests within a change |
| The name of the cycle to which the changes belong |
| The number of risks identified within the changed |
| The number of open conflicts identified within the change |
| A dropdown list that enables you to carry out further actions for the change |
In the Changes
area, you can carry out the following activities:
Create and change details of a change, as well as reassign a change. For more information, see Creating Changes and Maintaining Changes.
Delete empty changes. To delete a change, find the row that contains the change you want to delete and choose
.Set the status of a change. For more information, see Setting the Status of a Change.
Create transport requests for changes, release transport requests, import transport requests and transports of copies, and decouple transport requests from changes. For more information, see Creating and Releasing Transport Requests and Decoupling Transport Requests.
Note
If you release an empty transport request, the request will be deleted automatically.
Assign transport requests from changes. For more information, see Assigning Transport Requests.
Create transports of copies. For more information, see Creating Transports of Copies.
Perform a downgrade check. For more information, see Downgrade Protection and Using Downgrade Protection.
