When a normal change is created, it is automatically assigned the status Open
. The change manager can set the status of the normal change to either Completed
or Withdrawn
as required.
The following change statuses are available for normal changes:
Status | Description |

Open | The normal change is in its initial status. |
Completed | The change has been carried out and is finished. This means that this change will not be transferred to a new cycle during a cycle switch. Changes can be completed only if all of the transport requests have been imported successfully into a production system. |
Withdrawn | If this status is set, the change is withdrawn. Changes that contain non-empty transport requests cannot be withdrawn. |
In additional to the change statuses, urgent changes are submitted to an approval processes and so also have an approval status. When an urgent change is created, it is automatically assigned the approval status To Be Approved
. Before the urgent change can be set to Open
, it must be approved by both the quality manager and a member of the quality advisory board. If either of these business partners reject the change, it is automatically assigned the status Rejected
.
The following approval statuses are available for urgent changes:

If both the quality manager and the quality advisory board member approve the urgent change, it is automatically assigned the status Open
. From there, the change manager can change the status to the following values:

Click the change number in the Change
column.
In the dialog box that appears, select the new status from the dropdown box for the change status or the approval status.
