Using the Search Function
Using the Search
pushbutton above the scenario list, you can search for a scenario or change by entering a keyword such as the transport request number or the name of a business partner.
Prerequisites
In SAP Solution Manager Configuration (transaction SOLMAN_SETUP
), you have completed the following activities in the Configure Embedded Search
step of the Change Request Management
scenario:
You have connected the embedded search using TREX or SAP HANA.
You have created the corresponding search connector.

Features
The search returns a list of all changes that meet your search criteria. By clicking the link in the Change
column, you can navigate directly to the relevant change and any associated transport requests.
The systems takes into account the following information during the search:
QGM Scenario Name
Sublandscape Name
Branch Name
Cycle Name
Change Object ID
Change Transaction Type
Change Description
Change Status Description
Change Created By (user name)
Change Manager (full user name)
Transport Request ID
Transport Request Description
Transport Request Owner (user name)
