The Transport Requests
area contains information about all of the transport requests in your QGM scenario.
Note
You can activate the cross-system object lock for objects in transport requests to prevent changes from being made to an object in another transport request. For more information, see Cross-System Object Lock.
The Transport Requests
area contains the following columns by default:
Column | Meaning |
---|---|
ID of the transport request
Textual description of the transport request
Name of the request owner
Status of the transport request (changeable or released)
Number of copies of the transport request. Choose the link to display all transports of copies that have been generated, including detailed data for the transport requests involved.
Type of transport request (workbench or Customizing)
Status and number of critical objects in the transport request
A dropdown list that enables you to carry out further actions for the requests
You can use the following functions in the Transport Requests
area:
You can branch to the transport organizer (transaction SE09
) in the back end by choosing the link in the Transport
column.
You can create transports of copies (see Creating Transports of Copies).
You can change the description and the owner of the transport (see Working with Transport Requests).
You can assign further developers to the request.
You can release an open transport request. Once you have released a transport request, it is locked in the Status
column and can no longer be changed.
You can separate a changeable transport request from its change. These transport requests are not controlled by QGM anymore. For more information, see Decoupling a Transport Request.
You can delete a transport request if it is empty.
You can display critical objects and approve or reject their export. For more information, see Process Critical Objects.
