Object documentationApplication Operations Dashboard – User Experience Overview

The dashboards for the Operations category in the Dashboard Builder provide a quick overview of the availability and performance of your managed systems.

One such dashboard is the User Experience Overview, which displays the performance and availability from User Experience Monitoring during selected intervals in two tiles; you can thereby adjust the underlying scenarios or scripts according to your requirements. The Integration section below tells you how to perform the configuration. They show the technical scenarios or scripts whose performance or availability do not fulfill your requirements, at a glance.

The following tiles exist in the dashboard:

  • The SLA Scenario Performance, which displays the performance of the selected scenarios or scripts in a bar chart. The average portion of the steps whose status is green due to the respective response time is displayed. The performance for the current month, the previous 3 months, and the mean value for the 12 months before the previous 3 months is displayed.

  • The SLA Scenario Availability, which displays the availability of the selected scenarios or scripts in a bar chart. The average availability in percent of the entire script executions is displayed. The performance for the current month, the previous 3 months, and the mean value for the 12 months before the previous 3 months is displayed.

As a detail view, both tiles contain the Smart View, with which you can analyze the data displayed in the tile in more detail, for example, perform a drilldown or set additional filters.

The dashboard is displayed in the Application Operations Dashboards in the Dashboard Builder.

Integration

The tiles delivered are to be regarded primarily as a template; use the tiles by selecting the scripts and scenarios to be displayed. This takes place for the entire dashboard via a global filter (see Defining Global Filters). Proceed as follows:

  1. In the top right-hand side of the screen, choose the Global Filter pushbutton; the fields Script and Name of Tech. Scenario are displayed.

  2. To set a global filter for these fields, choose the desired field and enter the desired filter values in the Filter Dimension screen. Then choose Copy.

  3. The filter values are copied to the global filter and displayed there. All of the dashboard's tiles are updated accordingly.
