Use

You use this to define the current layout of the ALV Grid Control.

Procedure

...

       1.      To change the layout, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Change Layout. In full-screen mode, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text or Settings  Layout Change.

       2.      On the Change Layout screen, the parts of the layout are defined on the corresponding tab pages. To choose a tab, click it.

       3.      Set the relevant options on the tab pages.

       4.      To apply your settings, confirm the dialog box with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

To save a layout, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Individual Tab Pages

Column Selection

On the Column selection tab, you can hide columns and change the column order. The columns displayed in the list are displayed in Column selection; the hidden columns are displayed in Available columns.

To hide columns, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Select the corresponding entries in Column selection.

       2.      To add the selected entries to Available Columns, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Alternatively:

...

       1.      Select the corresponding entries in Column selection.

       2.      Click on the selected entry/entries again, but this time hold the mouse button down. The cursor appears with a small rectangle.

       3.      Drag the entries to Available Columns and drop them there.

To remove the entries from the Available Columns, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

      To calculate column totals, select the indicator under the totals symbol in Available Columns selection.

      To find terms, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

To change the order of columns in the list, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Select one or more entries.

       2.      Click on the selected entry/entries again, but this time hold the mouse button down. The cursor appears with a small rectangle.

       3.      Drag the entries to the desired position and drop them there.

The entry is added in front of the line marking.

Alternatively:

...

       1.      Select one or more entries.

       2.      Choose from the following:

       Move one entry up, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

       Move one entry down, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

       Move an entry to the first position in the sort order, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

       Move an entry to the last position in the sort order, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

 

Additional Options when Using SAP Crystal Reports

 

Note

The display of these options must be activated by the system administrator.

 

If SAP Crystal Reports is used in your system landscape, the name of the current layout is displayed above the tab area, is available. You have the following options in this case:

 

      Select existing layout

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

      Save the current layout under a name of your choice

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

      Restore the column layout to the last saved version

 

Sort

To sort these tabs, see Sorting in Ascending or Descending Order. If there is a total in the list, you can also calculate subtotals on the Sort tab.

Filter

To filter one or more columns, see Setting and Deleting Filters.

View

On the View tab, you specify which template is used for which view. See Managing Templates.

 

Additional Options when Using SAP Crystal Reports

 

Note

The display of these options must be activated by the system administrator.

 

If you are using SAP Crystal Reports in your system landscape, you can also select this as your preferred view from the dropdown menu. SAP delivers a standard report for generating a view with Crystal Reports. However, it is also possible at administration level to define a customer-specific generation report which can then be selected for generating the view.

 

Display

On this tab, you set how the list is displayed. To activate the desired option, select the corresponding indicator.
