Changing the Standard Settings for Target SystemsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have created non-ABAP systems or dual-stack systems with automatically generated standard settings.

Procedure
  1. Call transaction STMS.

  2. Choose System Overview.

  3. Select a system.

The screen Display TMS Configuration: System <SID> appears.

  4. Choose the tab page Transport Tool.

  5. Switch to change mode.

  6. Optional: If the CTS plug-in is installed in your system: If you want to connect further applications with CTS, choose Start of the navigation path GoTo Next navigation step Application Types Next navigation step Deployment Method End of the navigation path.

Proceed as described in Configuring Target Systems for Further Applications.

For more information, see Connecting Further Applications with the Change and Transport System.

  7. Optional: As required, add the following parameters that control the behavior of the target systems, or change the existing values:

    • DEPLOY_URL

    • DEPLOY_XI_URL

    • DEPLOY_SLD_URL

    • DEPLOY_WEB_SERVICE

    • DEPLOY_DATA_SHARE

Note If the CTS Deploy Web service is not on the CTS server and is on another server instead, you have to change this parameter. The server on which the CTS Deploy Web service runs must be able to access the transport directory. Specify the directory used by the CTS Deploy web service to access the ABAP transport directory, and configure appropriate authorizations for the user <sid>adm.
    • CTS_FILE_PROVIDER_URI

    • DEPLOY_OUTBOX

    • DEPLOY_OUTBOX-<APPLICATION_TYPE> (only available if the CTS plug-in is installed in the SAP system)

    • CTS_SYSTEM_MAPPING

    • CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE

    • DI_SYSTEM

    • COMMUNICATION_SYSTEM

For more information on the parameters, see Parameters for Non-ABAP Transports.

  8. Save your settings.

Caution You must not define these parameters as global parameters. Make sure that the Global flag is not set for any of the parameters.
