Transporting Objects
You have configured CTS and the systems involved in the transport (more information: Configuring CTS and Systems for CTS Transports, Configuring Source and Target Systems).
Furthermore, the transport organizer Web service must also be activated (more information: Activating the Web Service for Transport Organizer Web UI).
- Collect all the objects to be transported in a CTS transport request. Note the following two cases:
- You only want to include objects of one type in a CTS transport request, for example, only design objects (ES Repository) or only configuration objects (Integration Directory).

- You want to include objects of different types in a CTS transport request, such as design objects from the ES Repository and related configuration objects from the Integration Directory.

- You only want to include objects of one type in a CTS transport request, for example, only design objects (ES Repository) or only configuration objects (Integration Directory).
- Import the objects into the target system with the Transport Management System (TMS).

The details of every export and import are logged. Choose Tools → Search for Transports to display the details in the ES Builder. To display the attributes for a CTS transport, double-click the search result; the transport request ID is saved as a link. Use this link to navigate directly to the transport request that was used for the export or import in CTS.
